Swansea Announce New LLM; Queen Mary Announce £275k Student Funding 03/12/2014
Swansea University School of Law has announced that it will offer a new LLM in Oil and Gas Law.
The university have said that the new programme will offer a “comprehensive curriculum, recognising that petroleum law encompasses not only raw exploitation of oil and gas but also many different aspects of law and business, including intellectual property rights in new technology, intricate joint venture contracts and compensation regimes for pollution liability.”
Holman Fenwick Willan has also agreed to award an annual prize to the LLM student with the best performance in the Oil and Gas program.
Meanwhile, Queen Mary, University of London (QMUL) School of Law has announced over £275,000 worth of funding to be offered to LLM students. Opportunities include four fee waivers for overseas students, and six waivers for Home/EU students.
